Dois anos e pouco após o disco de estreia "Feeling Dizzy, Honey?!" (que conservava em cada canção um "hit", e que ainda muitos deles ecoam nos meus ouvidos), um dos trios femininos mais poderosos da Europa, regressa com "Wild Girl Walk", um registo simplesmente fantástico, isto porque a caminhada destas raparigas leva-nos a viajar aos anos maiores da música, o rock ´n´ roll dos anos 50 e como maior presença e influência o "garage 60´s", mas pelo meio existem canções perturbadoras, estou a falar claro da magnifica canção que é "Electric Chair Twist", que provoca o primeiro impacto, após escutarmos o tema de abertura, isto porque as diferença "sonoras" são bem vincadas, "I Know" são as Micragirls, como as tinha conhecido, enquanto que "Electric Chair Twist" é tudo, o próprio nome é a melhor indicação daquilo que escutamos, uma cadeira eléctrica que nos provoca convulsões de “twist”, mas "Wild Girl Walk" é composto por mais e boas canções, "Out of Tune" e "Run Thru The Night" têm a participação vocal de Jon Spencer e Matt Verta-Ray (o duo maravilha de nome Heavy Trash), passamos por "Hit-And-Miss" um instrumental que nos leva novamente ao som original das Micragirls e é então que nos deparamos com "Story Of Two" uma infecciosa melodia "country", que volta a estar presente com mais energia em "Rock'n'Roll Rocket" e "Funnel Of Love" (a única “cover” presente no disco, que foi escrita por Charlie McCoy e Kent Westberry, mas imortalizada pela Wanda Jackson), nas duas faixas finais voltamos a escutar o som original das Micragirls, descontrolados "drenched´s" de órgão e guitarras "fuzz". "Wild Girl Walk" é um disco extraordinário que vai de certeza atrair um espectro mais amplo de ouvintes.----------++++----------
Two years and a little after the debut album "Feeling Dizzy, Honey?!" (who kept each song a hit, and many of them still echo in my ears), one of the most powerful female trios in Europe, returns with "Wild Girl Walk", that it is just amazing, because these girls walk takes us to travel to the best years of music, the rock'n'roll of the 50´s and with higher prevalence and influence the "garage” of the 60´s, but in between this are disturbing songs, I mean of course the magnificent song that is "Electric Chair Twist", which causes the initial impact, after we listen to the opening theme, this difference are because the "noise" is well-honed, "I Know" are the Micragirls, as was known, while "Electric Chair Twist" is all, its name is the best indication of what we hear, an electric chair that causes convulsions of "twist", but "Wild Girl Walk" contains more good songs, "Out of Tune" and "Run Through The Night" have the vocal participation of Jon Spencer and Matt Verta-Ray (the wonder duo named Heavy Trash), passed by "Hit-And-Miss" an instrumental that takes us back to the original sound of Micragirls, that is when we are faced with "Story Of Two" an infectious tune of "country", which is made present again, but with more energy in "Rock'n'Roll Rocket" and in "Funnel Of Love" (the only cover of the record, that was written by Charlie McCoy and Kent Westberry, but immortalized by Wanda Jackson), the two final tracks back to listen to the sound of the original Micragirls, uncontrolled "drenched´s" of organ and “fuzz" guitars. “Wild Girl Walk" is an extraordinary record that will certainly attract a broader spectrum of listeners.
