Em três anos consecutivos, os The Love Me Nots produziram e editaram três discos magníficos, a saber, em 2007 "In Black & White", "Detroit" em 2008 e agora, em 2009 "Upsidedown Insideout", todos produzidos por Jim Diamond (produtor apelidado de "deus" do "garage revival" e que produziu bandas como as Gore Gore Girls, os White Stripes ou os Romantics). O primeiro disco é um "comeback" à revolução do "garage-rock" onde todas as canções foram trabalhadas até à perfeição (nestas palavras nota-se que este é o meu preferido, não existe amor como o primeiro), "Detroit" continuou a febricitante atitude que esta banda contém, e como tal foi aquele que os aclamou como tal, osculado e acalmado por tudo o que é revista, rádio e podcast, levo-os a subir até ao topo da actualidade como grupo, que magnificamente nos retrocede até ao revivalismo do "garage 60´s". Agora é a vez de "Upsidedown Insideout" e a elegância e o nervosismo da produção do "moderne garage" continua lá, Nicole Laurenne continua a injectar-nos de soul e emoções como podemos escutar em "Undone", "Karen (Get Yourself Out)" e "He's What I Want" não são as melhores canções do disco mas descrevem o que melhor existe de "pop" nele, mas é em "Do What You Do" e “You Don't Know A Thing About Me" que a verdadeira identidade dos The Love Me Nots se revela, não esquecendo "Fire & Ice" que, essa sim, é a total aproximação ao "garage old school" , em síntese os The Love me Nots editaram mais um disco estupendo, que ao mesmo tempo pode derreter ou congelar os vossos corações.----------++++----------
