Os Italianos The Pretty Face são uma instituição do "garage" italiano, formados desde 1997 em Milão, conseguiram este peso musical praticamente com um só registo e muitos concertos, mas agora em 2009 pela editora italiana Area Pirata, lançam o seu s/t. A sensação genérica ao ouvir o disco é semelhante àquela que escutamos nas pérolas Nuggets dos 60´s, composto por seis canções originais e seis "covers", dos originais destacam-se "Your Heart Is Made Of Stone" um potente em "garage r&b" e "Come Closer" que é magistralmente psicadélica, magnificamente bem interpretadas as “covers” são de bandas que marcadamente os influenciaram, como os The Seeds, The Turtles, Miracle Workers, the Doors, The Sonics e dos MC5. Não cansa repetir, que neste panorama do "60´s Garage rock", os The Pretty Face são dos nomes mais entusiasmantes, sobretudo pela forma única como puxaram melodias de onde menos se esperava e nesse campo são tão genuínos que parecem originais.
